The American Library Association 2010 Youth Media Awards will be announced on Monday, January 18th, at 7:45 a.m Eastern time. You can stream the awards live here or see them posted on ALA's Twitter. I also read somewhere that they (ALA) should have the winners posted on their website by 9:30 a.m Eastern time.
Who will be at ALA?
Any predictions for winners?

I'm planning to sleep in. :)
I'm definitely going to be there, and I hope to (maybe) attend the announcements although golly, 7:45 sure is early to be somewhere other than pajama-ed in my snuggly bed.
I have my heart set on When You Reach Me winning the Newbury. It made me cry openly on the T and I think it's just wonderful.
margaret--i've got when you reach me coming near the top of my tbr pile (or my tb re-read pile). hopefully next week we can start discussing it on here, because, like you, i think it's got a good shot at the newbery.
