Having unquestionably read both books, I wish you had won, Karen, and not just because I write a blog with you. Curse was great, and I loved it, but Graceling was tighter, a better overall piece of work.
It was nice, however, to see fantasy getting a real nod from the ALA, both here and with The Graveyard Book.
